Accommodation

You do not have to stay at Hawkwood. There is a lot of other accommodation in the country town of Stroud and the surrounding villages.
Past trainees have enjoyed the friendliness and good value of the local Premier Inn. Book online or call 01582 567890 and ask for any special deals. It's 5 minutes away from Hawkwood by car or 20-30 mins pleasant uphill walk; it's opposite a park and leisure centre and 5 minutes from town.

By car, Stroud is two hours from London, an hour and a half from Birmingham, 40 minutes from Bristol, an hour or so from Newport and Cardiff.
By Rail, Stroud is 1hr 40mins from London (a direct service) with easy connections from the Midlands, South Wales and the South West.
Hawkwood College is a short taxi ride from the station.
